Proton Therapy in Spain: Technical, Logistical and Regulatory Challenges
This monographic session will address the current state of nuclear medicine, with special emphasis on the development of the infrastructure needed for the implementation of proton therapy treatments in Spain.
The analysis will focus on ensuring equitable access for citizens to advanced therapies. The latest developments on projects currently underway will be presented, along with a debate on the main technical, logistical and regulatory challenges associated with the implementation of these infrastructures, with the aim of guaranteeing the effective availability of proton therapy treatments.
