Monika Silva

Monika Silva is Deputy Director General of IGEOS Nuclear. She has been with IGEOS for 23 years, playing a key role in strengthening the market position of Polish companies in the energy sector. For the past five years, she has led the development of the IGEOSNuclear division, whose mission is to prepare Poland’s industrial base to meet the requirements of the nuclear sector. Under her leadership, IGEOSNuclear has become a platform connecting industry, government institutions, technology providers and international partners. Monika is a strong advocate for increasing the role of women in the energy industry. In 2026, she was recognised by Forbes Women Poland as one of the “25 Women in the Polish Energy Sector”.

The development of Poland’s nuclear supply chain and the preparation of domestic companies to participate in national and international nuclear projects. Poland’s outlook for the coming years as the country moves from programme preparation to project implementation, and the opportunities this creates for European industrial cooperation.
