Programa para acompañantes

As usual, the program for visits and excursions for guests of the 47th Annual Meeting seeks to combine the culture, art, history, and traditions of the host city and its autonomous community. Pursuing this idea, and with the possibilities that a city like Cartagena offers us, we are working on the preparation of a preliminary program that we hope you will find varied and appealing.

This set of visits made during the three days of the Meeting is restricted to guests and has a cost in addition to registration. Pending confirmation of the final program, the tour will include a visit to the Civil War Shelter Museum and a winery in the region, a tasting of local cuisine, and a boat ride through the bay of Cartagena, visiting the Fuerte de Navidad.

The visits will start from the entrance of the Palacio de Congresos El Batel at 3:45 pm. Comfortable shoes are recommended

We will begin with a guided visit to the Civil War Shelter Museum, a space to learn about the recent history of Cartagena, a strategic point and primary objective of the Civil War bombings. During the visit, testimonies of its protagonists can be heard, the change that the conflict brought to their lives, and how the passive and active defense of the city was organized.

Then, the visit will continue at CaféLab, an establishment where you will experience the preparation of coffee from a laboratory from the beginning to the cup, accompanied by artisan cakes. During the demonstration, the knowledge of coffee roasters from cultivation, roasting, extraction, and the final product that reaches the cup will be presented.

  • Wine tasting directly from the barrel of one of its next Premium vintages.
  • To conclude, there will be a tasting-pairing prepared by one of the most renowned restaurants in Jumilla.
