As usual, the program of visits and excursions for those accompanying participants to the 51st Annual Meeting aims to bring together the culture, art, history and traditions of the host city and its autonomous community. Pursuing this idea, and with the possibilities offered by a city like Cáceres, we have designed a preliminary program that we hope you will find varied and attractive.
This set of visits during the three days of the Meeting is restricted to accompanying persons and has an additional cost to the registration fee.

3 pm – 3:30 pm Visit to the Commercial Exposition
5 pm – 6:30 pm Private Guided Tour of the Helga de Alvear Museum
The Helga de Alvear Museum is home to one of the most important international contemporary art collections in Europe: the Helga de Alvear Collection, comprising more than 3,000 works by artists such as Goya, Picasso, Vassily, Kandinsky, Louise Bourgeois, Ai Weiwei, Thomas Hirschhorn, Haegue Yang, Dora García, Olafur Eliasson and Helena Almeida, among others.
The Museum building was designed by the National Architecture Prize winner Emilio Tuñón and his team, and has received numerous awards (Prix Amo – Architecture et Maitres d’Ouvrage of the French Government, at the Architecture MasterPrize, at the XV Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism and the New Bauhaus 2022 Award).

Guided tour of Trujillo, “Medieval Scenario and Route of the Discoverers”.
A very complete tour that starts at the Plaza Mayor and continues within the medieval town walls, where we will know the most outstanding corners and monuments of a city steeped in history: castle, Renaissance palaces, churches, towers, ancestral homes, convents, Muslim battlements round, etc. . An experience that will take us back in time and make us feel what the inhabitants of a medieval town that was the residence of kings, nobles and conquerors felt.
